Jack Gaines

Jack Gaines is an experienced professional with a diverse background in volunteer management, education, and administrative support. Since August 2022, Jack has served as the Associate Curator of Visitor and Volunteer Engagement at High Desert Museum. Prior to this role, Jack worked at the Audubon Nature Institute from December 2014 to June 2022 as the Adult Volunteer Coordinator, overseeing the recruitment and management of over 300 Naturalist volunteers. Additional experience includes positions at Loyola University New Orleans, Oliver H. Van Horn, and the Peace Corps, where Jack developed and presented technology seminars for educators in Cameroon. Jack's earlier tenure at Carnegie Mellon University encompassed roles as Regional Programs Associate and Finance Associate, focusing on budget management and operational support. Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Texas State University.
