Danny O’Keefe

Danny O'Keefe is the current Director at High Lantern Group. Prior to their current position, Danny served as the Vice President of Corporate Communications at City National Bank from December 2019 to April 2021. In this role, Danny was responsible for the bank's crisis communications planning, including their coronavirus communications. Danny also developed communications strategies to amplify the Paycheck Protection Program roll out and pandemic related community initiatives.

From July 2014 to December 2019, Danny served as the Assistant Vice President at City National Bank where they created the bank's Small Business Report. The report is a nationwide survey of 1,000+ business owners that includes a video series and marketing campaign. For their work on the Small Business Report, Danny earned a bronze “Stevie Award” by the American Business Awards. Additionally, Danny managed production and distribution of City National’s Economy & Jobs Report, a quarterly report covering California and regional economies in the bank's footprint.

Danny O’Keefe was educated at Loyola High School, Loyola College in Maryland (BBA in Business/Managerial Economics), and American University School of International Service (MA in International Relations).
