Ryan Parker

Ryan Parker is an experienced editor and writer currently serving as Editor in Chief for 8 Balls & 8 Reelers, where Ryan manages a weekly Substack newsletter and blog focused on film, literature, cultural topics, recovery, and mindfulness. Previously, Ryan held various positions including Audio Visual Technician at High Output, Inc., Writer for B-Roll Magazine, and Behavioral Health Technician at East Coast Recovery Center. Additional experience includes roles as Lead Guide at Bonobos, Production Assistant at Amazon Studios, Editor at LACE Magazine, and legislative internships with Congressman Steven F. Lynch and the Chris Van Hollen Senate Campaign. Ryan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from American University.
