Simon Roche

Simon Roche is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Strategic Communications Manager at High Performance Sport New Zealand since April 2019. Roche has held various key positions in communications, including Group Account Director and Senior Account Director at Wright Communications from November 2015 to present and October 2012 to October 2015, respectively. Prior to that, significant roles included Senior Communications Advisor for Auckland Tourism Events & Economic Development from November 2010 to March 2013 and RWC 2011 Communications Manager at Auckland City Council. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from The University of Auckland and a Diploma of Journalism from Auckland University of Technology.
