Michelle Jones

Michelle Jones is an experienced educator with a robust background in remedial education and learner support. Currently serving as a Grade 4 Teacher at Highbury Preparatory School since January 2022, Michelle previously held the position of Remedial Teacher at the same institution from 2014 to December 2020. Prior roles include Head of Learner Support and On-Site Remedial Therapist at Westville Junior Primary School, along with contributions as a Committee Member for the Remedial Teachers Association. Michelle also shared expertise as a lecturer in Early Childhood Development at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and operated as a Remedial Therapist in private practice at Bishop Bavin School. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Honours in Educational Psychology (Remedial), a PGCE in Education, and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and English.
