Tom Schmitte

Tom Schmitte is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in emergency medical services and nursing. Currently serving as a Docent at the Academie voor Ambulancezorg since June 2023, Tom also holds the position of Ambulanceverpleegkundige at Highcare since August 2021. With a longstanding commitment to the field, Tom has been the Zaakvoerder at Edumed since August 2013 and previously worked as an Ambulanceverpleegkundige at RAV Brabant Midden-West-Noord from August 2012 to July 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Verpleegkundige in the Prehospital Intervention Team (PIT) at AZ Heilige Familie from September 2000 to August 2012, where responsibilities included training new nurses and overseeing procedures.
