Chris Treter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainable development and community resilience. As the Chief Instigator at Saveur du Kivu since June 2014, Chris leads initiatives in the coffee sector aimed at integrating key elements of sustainability and ethical trade. In addition, Chris co-founded On The Ground in July 2008, focusing on building international networks to enhance community resilience. Since September 2001, Chris has served as the Director at Higher Grounds Trading Co., managing operations and producer relations. Chris holds a Master's degree in Organizational Management for Social Change from the School for International Training, earned between 2000 and 2002.
