Anthony Dorris

Anthony Dorris is currently the Location & Circles Pastor at Higher Vision Church. Anthony has previously served as the Youth & Young Adult Pastor at New Antioch C.O.G.I.C. and as a MTG Servicing Specialist at Bank of America.

Anthony has always had a heart for ministry and discipleship. Anthony has been in full-time ministry since 2003, when they became the Youth & Young Adult Pastor at New Antioch C.O.G.I.C. In this role, they led and organized a team of adult and young adult leaders to serve and disciple students ages 12-25. Anthony planned weekly and monthly worship services and activities, and was responsible for the spiritual growth and development of all youth and young adults in the church.

In 2010, Anthony left New Antioch C.O.G.I.C. to join Higher Vision Church as their Location & Circles Pastor. In this role, they are responsible for leading and developing the church's small groups, which are an important part of Higher Vision's discipleship model. Anthony also oversees the church's locations strategy, which includes multiple campuses and dozens of small groups that meet in homes across the city.

Prior to their ministry career, Anthony worked as a MTG Servicing Specialist at Bank of America. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring accurate, timely disbursement payments of property tax bills on impounded home loans. Anthony also managed auto-batch payments for more than twenty states, and trained and oversaw the workflow of temporary employees during tax season.

Anthony is a highly skilled leader with a passion for discipleship and ministry. Anthony has a proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams, planning and executing worship services and activities, and overseeing all aspects of small group ministry. Anthony is a strategic thinker with a heart for reaching people with the Gospel, and they are committed to seeing Higher Vision Church continue to grow and thrive in its mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Anthony Dorris attended David Starr Jordan High School.
