Kelly Cherwin (Fask)

Kelly Cherwin (Fask) has a diverse work experience in various industries.

From 2008 to present, they have worked at HigherEdJobs, initially as a Communications Editor and then as the Director of Editorial Strategy. In these roles, they managed the editorial process, developed and executed quality content, and distributed it to engage the higher education community. Kelly also co-hosted the HigherEdJobs Podcast and was involved in planning and conducting web interview series.

In 2014, Kelly worked as an Instructor at Elmhurst College, teaching management courses at the graduate and undergraduate level.

From 2003 to 2007, they worked at the Illinois Institute of Technology, firstly as an Instructor teaching a project management course and later as the Director of Career Services at the Stuart School of Business. In the latter role, they managed the Career Management Center, built relationships with employers, and supervised staff members.

Additionally, Kelly has experience as a Yoga Instructor at Little Lotus Yoga Studio from 2016 to 2018 and as the Director of Career Services at Career Colleges of Chicago from 2002 to 2003.

Kelly Cherwin (Fask) has a strong educational background with a focus on business and science. Kelly obtained their MBA degree with a concentration in Management and Marketing from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, graduating in 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology- Ecology, Evolution and Behavior from the University of Minnesota in 1997. Before attending the University of Minnesota, Kelly studied Biology-Zoology at St. Cloud St. University from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Kelly has also acquired a certification in Ethics in Management from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago.
