Michelle Hirons has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michelle is the Founder and CEO of HigherRing, a company focused on hiring onshore workers for sustainable and well-paying positions. Michelle has also served as the Membership Chair at WeTheChange and was a Founding Member of Real Leaders Impact Collaborative.
Prior to these roles, Michelle worked as the Head of Operations at ACME Technologies Inc., where they launched and managed sales, account services, and call center teams. Michelle also held the position of Product Manager at Gap Inc./Gap Inc. Direct, where they led various ecommerce, supply chain, and customer service initiatives.
Michelle's early career includes roles as a Product Manager at Prosodie Interactive, where they worked on ecommerce and customer service platform launches for several high-profile clients. Michelle also served as a Systems Integration Manager at LVMH, where they played a key role in launching the eLuxury ecommerce platform and designing customer service and loyalty platforms for Sephora.
Additionally, Michelle has experience as a Technical Business Analyst at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., a Sales Associate at Jenny Hammons Northwest, and a Controller at Livingston & Mattesich Attorneys at Law.
Michelle Hirons graduated from the University of Oregon in 1990 with a BA in Finance/Political Science. In 1988-1989, they also attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, specializing in International Business/Finance. In 2020, they completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program at Babson College, earning a graduate degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in areas such as Agile Product Owner Role, Data Visualization Storytelling Essentials, and Supply Chain Management Fundamentals from Lynda.com in 2016.
