John Thompson

John Thompson has a strong work history that spans over several years. John is currently employed at Highland Homes as a Construction Manager II, a role they started in July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at David Weekley Homes as a Senior Builder from July 2016 to June 2023. Before entering the construction industry, John served in the US Army for many years. John'sroles in the army include TCU/UNT Military Science Instructor, Infantry Platoon Sergeant, Instructor/Writer, Ranger Instructor, Long Range Surveillance Team Leader, and Long Range Surveillance Team Member. John'sresponsibilities ranged from training and mentoring cadets to leading infantry platoons and conducting high-risk reconnaissance missions.

John Thompson completed their Bachelor's degree in Security Management from American Military University from 2007 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1993 to 1995, where they pursued a field of study in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, but did not attain a degree.
