Mat. Jacquelyn Austin M.ed.

Jacquelyn Austin M.Ed., MAT. is an experienced educator currently serving as a Positive Behavior Support Teacher at Highland Park ISD since July 2021. In addition to this role, Jacquelyn has been a Children's Book Author at Lil' Captain Jack and the Cruise Ship since July 2016, where the work focuses on the adventures aboard a cruise ship. Previous experience includes a decade as a PreK/Kindergarten Teacher at George Bannerman Dealey Montessori Vanguard and International Academy and a Client Service Associate position at Sotheby's. Jacquelyn holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Montessori Teacher Education from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Teaching (MAT) in Urban Education from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Villanova University.
