Julia Quay serves as a Chef Instructor at the Culinary Arts Institute at Montgomery County Community College since August 2012, teaching various courses related to baking and restaurant operations, leveraging over 30 years of experience in hotels, restaurants, and bakeries. Additionally, Julia contributes as a freelance writer for Highlights for Children and Cake Central Media Corp, where notable works include award-winning short stories and articles on baking. Past roles include wedding cake decorator positions at several high-volume bakeries, including Mastoris Restaurant and Tiffany's Bakery, as well as ownership of their own bakery, Cook and Baker Cafe. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Cornell University.
