Application Engineer at HighLine Technology

Maximilian Weil has worked for a number of organizations since 2012. Maximilian's first position was as an Engineering Intern for HIWIN GmbH in 2012. In 2015, they worked as an Engineering Intern for Bosch Engineering GmbH, where they developed corrosion protection for high-pressure components on diesel injection pumps (Grade: 1.3). In 2016, they worked as a Working Student for Schaeffler and completed their Bachelor Thesis on basic investigation for defect analysis using computer tomography on injection moulded parts (Grade: 1.0). In 2018, they worked as a Scientific Assistant for Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE and completed their Master Thesis on the development of a photonic sintering process for contacting silicon heterojunction (SHJ) solar cells (Grade: 1.0). Maximilian also wrote a Seminar Paper on methods for characterizing ageing mechanisms in lithium ion accumulators (Grade: 1.0). In 2020, they began working as an Application Engineer for HighLine Technology GmbH.

Maximilian Weil obtained a German High School Diploma (Abitur) from Technisches Gymnasium Friedrich-August-Haselwander Schule Offenburg from 2009 to 2012. Maximilian then attended Offenburg University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Maschinenbau. Maximilian also obtained two qualifications from TÜV SÜD Akademie in 2016, a Qualitätsmanagement-Beauftragter (QMB) and a Qualitätsmanagement-Fachkraft (QMF). Finally, they returned to Offenburg University of Applied Sciences from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
