Gary Bialik, CPA

Gary Bialik, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Gary is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer at HighPost Capital since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Independent Director at CHAMP Private Equity from November 2018 to July 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing investment companies affiliated with CHAMP Private Equity.

Before joining CHAMP Private Equity, Gary worked at SS&C Technologies as a Manager from July 2020 to May 2021. Gary also has a significant tenure at Castle Harlan, Inc. where they held the position of Chief Financial Officer from November 2004 to November 2018. During their time at Castle Harlan, they managed a staff of 8 and provided operational support for major transactions, partnership structures, compliance, and reporting standards. Gary was also involved in the valuation process and performance metrics calculations. Additionally, Gary has experience working at Ernst & Young LLP as a Manager specializing in the audit of Private Equity Funds and Hedge Funds from 1999 to 2004.

Gary Bialik, CPA has a strong educational background in accountancy. In 1994, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from Yeshiva University. Subsequently, from 1997 to 1999, they attended Baruch College and earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Accountancy. Gary Bialik also holds additional certifications, including an active certification as a Certified Public Accountant, obtained in 2002 from the NY State, and they are also a Registered Director designated by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.
