Sachin Thakkar

Sachin Thakkar has diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Sachin co-founded Highway9 Networks Inc. in 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Director and Director of R&D at VMware, where they contributed to the development of the VMware Telco & Edge, HCX & Telco NFV, and HCX, VMware Hybrid Cloud. Sachin was also a Senior Software Engineer in NSX - R&D. Sachin worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco and eBay Inc in 2009 and 2007, respectively. Sachin was an Embedded Sensor Researcher at UCLA CENS in 2007 and a Software Development Intern at Trimtech Inc. in 2004.

Sachin Thakkar has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UCLA and a Master of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Sachin also attended Bellarmine College Preparatory, although it is unknown whether they earned a degree or what field of study they pursued there.
