Greg Chaffin

Greg Chaffin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Greg began their career in 2000 as an Assistant Purchasing Manager at Mid-Valley Glass & Millwork, where they remained until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Viper Northwest as a Procurement Manager/SQE. In 2015, they joined HiLine Homes as the Director of Operations. In 2018, they became a Certified First Aid Instructor at EMS Safety Services. In 2009, they also served as a Firefighter/Medic at Pleasant Hill Fire & Rescue until 2012. In 2020, they worked as an Emergency Medical Technician/EMR at National and in 2021, they joined Lebanon Fire District as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMR.

Greg Chaffin began their education history in 1991 when they attended Roseburg Senior High, where they obtained an Honors Diploma in Science. In 2010, they attended South Willamette Fire Training Association to study Fire Science/Firefighting.

In 2020, Greg pursued Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) by completing an Emergency Medical Responder program at the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. During the same year, they also enrolled in the EMS program at Training Division.com to further enhance their skills as an Emergency Medical Responder.

In 2021, Greg pursued a Fire Science/Firefighting program at the Lebanon Fire Training Division to become a Firefighter1. The same year, they also began an Emergency Medical Responder program at the Oregon Health Authority, which they completed in 2022.

Additionally, Greg obtained several certifications throughout their education journey. Greg obtained a Fire Officer I certification from the Department of Public Safety Standards & Training (DPSST) in June 2022. Greg also holds certifications as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) from both the Oregon Health Authority and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Furthermore, they obtained a Certified First Aid Instructor certification in EMS/First Aid, CPR, AED, BBP from EMS Safety Services/Health Safety Institute. Although the obtained month and year for some certifications are not provided, Greg has additional certifications as a Fire Instructor I and a Firefighter 1 from the Department of Public Safety Standards & Training (DPSST).
