M. Melissa Larkin Ed

Melissa Larkin, M. Ed, is an experienced educator and creative professional with a diverse background in teaching visual art and wellness practices. Currently serving as a Visual Art Teacher at Hillcrest Educational Centers, Inc. since May 2016, Melissa also works as a Wellness Per Diem at Mountainside, providing instruction in qigong and yoga at a drug and alcohol retreat. Previous experience includes roles in floral design, wine education, and various teaching positions at institutions such as Reid Middle School and Open Mind School, focusing on students with emotional and behavioral challenges. Melissa holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Art History, Fine Arts, and Italian from Syracuse University.
