Shermaine Pang

Shermaine Pang has a diverse work experience in the field of science and research. Shermaine currently serves as a Downstream Scientist at Hilleman Laboratories since 2022. Prior to this, they had worked at Hummingbird Bioscience from 2019 to 2022, undertaking various roles including Chemistry, Manufacture and Controls (CMC) Project Manager, Senior Research Associate, and Research Associate (Downstream Bioprocessing). From 2016 to 2019, Shermaine worked as a Research Associate (Crystallography) at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research. Shermaine also had an earlier research internship at the same organization in 2016. Shermaine kickstarted their career as a Laboratory Technologist at the National University of Singapore from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they gained research experience through a research internship at Shanghai Institute of Medica Materia, Chinese Academy of Science in 2009.

Shermaine Pang completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they achieved a Diploma in Biotechnology from Singapore Polytechnic from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Shermaine obtained certifications in Complete Investing course (Stocks, ETFs, Index/Mutual funds) from Udemy: Online Courses in July 2022, and in High-Impact business writing from Coursera in July 2022.
