Thomas Elong

Thomas Elong is an experienced leader and public servant currently serving as a Byrådsmedlem for Moderaterne in Hillerød Kommune since April 2024, having previously represented Venstre from 2013 to 2023. Elong holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Dansk Hvidevare Rådgivning and ReelRelation, focusing on appliance consulting and strengthening organizational relationships. As a member of various boards, including Hillerød Kommune's Folkeoplysningsudvalg and as Chairman of Hillerøds Riddere, Elong actively promotes community engagement and tourism initiatives. Additionally, Elong contributes to Nordsjælland Håndbold and C4 Foreningen, while serving as Næstformand for VisitNordsjælland, bolstering local tourism strategies. Educational qualifications include a Level 2 certification in Wine Steward/Sommelier from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, a Board Leadership course, as well as a Merkonom degree in International Marketing from Roskilde Handelsskole.
