Matthew Markovich

Matthew Markovich is a seasoned real estate attorney with extensive experience in providing strategic guidance for complex commercial real estate projects at Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson P.S. since April 2020. Prior to this role, Matthew served as an associate at Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP and Kennerly Lamishaw & Rossi LLP. Early career experience includes a judicial externship at the United States District Court, where Matthew focused on legal research for various proceedings, and summer associate work involving legal research and drafting at Howarth & Smith. Matthew's background also encompasses significant financial expertise, having held senior financial analyst positions at Interpublic Group and Johnson & Johnson, and Matthew began a career in education as a volunteer English teacher in Chile. Matthew holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Bucknell University.
