Nathan Watters

Nathan Watters, Esq. is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant State Attorney at the State Attorney's Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit since May 2020. Prior to this role, Nathan served as a Senior Attorney for the Florida Department of Children and Families from September 2017 to May 2020, advocating for the safety and welfare of Florida's children and families. Nathan's background includes a judicial internship at the Florida Supreme Court and an internship with the United States Senate, as well as various legal internships and positions leading to a strong foundation in legal research, trial support, and advocacy. Nathan holds a Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law and advanced degrees in Public Policy and Mass Communication from Liberty University and the University of South Florida, respectively.
