Brett Carolus has extensive work experience at Hillyard. Brett began their career at the company in 2003 as a member of the SAP Implementation Team, and later moved into the role of SAP Project Manager. In 2009, they transitioned into a position focused on Corporate Finance and Information Systems. From 2012 to 2016, Brett served as the Director of Finance. In 2016, they were promoted to the role of VP Chief Administrative Officer, in which they currently serve.
Brett Carolus began their education at The University of Kansas in 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and Finance. Brett successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2002. Following their bachelor's degree, Brett continued their academic journey at The University of Kansas and attained a Master's degree in Accounting and Information Systems in 2003.
In 2000, Brett Carolus attended CIMBA and focused on International Business and Accounting. Although the specific degree attained during their time at CIMBA is not mentioned, this experience provided him with valuable knowledge and skills in the mentioned fields.
Later, in 2014, Brett Carolus participated in the Strategic Financial Leadership Program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. The program further augmented their financial expertise and leadership abilities.
