Dr. Leah is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Founder/Director of the Female Sexual Medicine Program at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, CA. Dr. Leah has devoted her clinical career to the treatment of sexual disorders in women, menopausal health, and cancer survivorship. She has previously served as the Chief Scientific Officer of Nuelle, Inc. and the Chief Medical Officer of Sprout Pharmaceuticals.
She holds a BA from Columbia University and an MD from Northwestern University. After completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University, she became the recipient of the prestigious Women’s Reproductive Health Research Scholarship (K12 award) from the NIH. Dr. Leah’s research was the first to identify the key differences in brain activation patterns between women with and without Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder.
