Rosa Palacios

Rosa Palacios is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the IT and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at HIMSS since October 2019, Rosa oversees IT projects by managing scope, budgets, schedules, issues, and risks. Prior roles include Information Technology Project Manager at the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, where project management encompassed the implementation of custom systems and vendor products. Rosa also worked as a Project Manager Consultant at HIMSS, managing software development projects, and served as Engagement Leader at Netsmart Technologies, responsible for client engagements in behavioral health software implementation. Earlier experience includes directing engineering efforts at Sequest Technologies, providing independent consulting services, and leading SAP software implementations at Accenture. Rosa holds a Bachelor's degree in Information and Decision Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago.
