Alok Shriram

Alok Shriram is currently the Director of Engineering at Hinge Health, where efforts focus on creating a patient-centered digital musculoskeletal clinic utilizing advanced wearable technology and a comprehensive clinical care team. Previously, Alok worked at Gusto, where significant contributions included developing a rule-engine to minimize administration costs associated with COBRA coverage. Alok also served as Engineering Manager and Platform Architect at Limeade, leading the transition to a microservices architecture. Earlier roles include Program Manager and Software Engineer at Microsoft, where Alok improved customer experiences and created a robust DNS system, as well as research internships at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Avaya, and the San Diego Supercomputer Center. Alok holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Madras, and a high school diploma in Science with Economics from Delhi Public School - R.K. Puram.
