Roland Gauthier

Roland Gauthier is a seasoned professional in the animation and visual effects industry, currently serving as Partner and Executive Producer at Hinge Digital since its founding in 2009. With a background that includes notable positions at Disney, Sony, and Laika, Roland has extensive experience in character modeling, animation, and production management. Roland also held leadership roles as President and Board Member of the Oregon Media Production Association from 2015 to 2021, advocating for film and television professionals in Oregon. Additionally, Roland contributed to the academic field as an adjunct faculty member at The Art Institute of Portland, teaching courses in technical direction, lighting, and rendering. Roland's educational qualifications include a BA in Mass Media and Cultural Identity from Vassar College and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Animation from SAE Expression College.
