James Prout

James Prout is an accomplished legal professional and partner at Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP since October 2021, bringing extensive experience from their previous role as a partner at Martin, Shudt, Wallace, DiLorenzo & Johnson from September 1997 to October 2021. Prior to this, James served as a shareholder at Pattison, Sampson, Ginsberg & Griffin, P.C. from August 1989 to September 1997. James began their career in finance, working as a corporate trust representative at Norstar Trust Company and as a credit analyst at Norstar Bank of Upstate NY, following a management trainee position at State Bank of Albany. James earned a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Albany Law School and holds an MBA in Management from The Sage Colleges-Sage Graduate School, along with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
