Mike Hintze is a highly experienced attorney specializing in privacy and data protection, serving as a Partner at Hintze Law PLLC since October 2016. With over 20 years of expertise, Mike advises various organizations on global privacy compliance and strategies. Additionally, Mike is an Affiliate Instructor of Law at the University of Washington School of Law, where Mike teaches the Privacy Law course. As a Senior Fellow at the Future of Privacy Forum since September 2018, Mike contributes to the discourse on privacy issues. Previously, Mike held significant positions, including Chief Privacy Counsel at Microsoft and Attorney at Steptoe & Johnson. Mike’s early career includes roles as a Law Clerk at the Washington State Supreme Court and internships in human rights and legislative research.
