John Yi

John Yi has work experience as a Software Engineer at Hippo Insurance from November 2019 to September 2021. During their time there, they were responsible for the complete refactor of the payments portal, creating a reusable address search bar component, establishing the Drupal CMS, and implementing custom lead flows. John also worked on GitHub Personal Projects in 2019, where they re-designed the backend architecture for a restaurant reservation microservice and developed a reservation module frontend. Additionally, they created a full-stack soccer player rater app that allowed users to rate players and view aggregate ratings.

John Yi attended Hack Reactor in 2019 for an unspecified period of time. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville.
