John Young

John Young has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. John most recently worked at Hippo Insurance, starting in June 2022 in a Product role. Prior to that, they were at Mizuho as an Investment Banking Analyst from June 2019 to May 2021. John also had a brief stint at Deloitte in early 2019, working in the Life Science field. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at ECHELON Partners in 2018 and as a Research Analyst Intern at Bespoke Partners in 2017. John also had internships at Sichuan International Trust and Investment Corporation in 2016 and State Farm in 2016. In addition, they worked as an Operations Analyst at First Miami Student and Alumni Federal Credit Union from September 2015 to May 2016. John gained experience in sports as well, working as a Football Intern and Basketball Student Manager at Miami University from 2015 to 2016. Lastly, they briefly worked as a Receptionist at Venrock in January 2016.

John Young attended Palo Alto Senior High School from 2010 to 2014. John then enrolled at UC San Diego from 2016 to 2018 where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Economics as a joint major. In 2017, they also briefly studied Finance at Università Bocconi.
