Walter Zhang

Walter Zhang has extensive experience in the legal field, primarily focused on immigration law. From 2007 to 2018, they worked as a Sr. Immigration Case Manager at the Law Offices of Jean D. Chen. In this role, they managed immigration cases, including preparing immigration petitions and monitoring employees' working permit statuses.

In 2018, Walter joined hireEZ (previously Hiretual) as a Legal Director. Walter provided legal support and guidance to various teams within the company, covering broad legal topics such as transaction, data privacy, advertising, employment, and immigration. Walter also played a key role in preparing and filing immigration petitions for employees, closely monitoring their working permit statuses, and ensuring compliance with I-9 and E-verify procedures. Additionally, they drafted, reviewed, revised, negotiated, and maintained various contracts and agreements related to SaaS business and software licensing.

From January 2018 to March 2022, Walter also took on the role of HR Director at hireEZ.

Walter Zhang holds a Master of Law (LL.M) degree in Comparative Law from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law, which they obtained from 2006 to 2007. Walter also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the China Youth University of Political Studies (formerly China Youth University for Political Sciences), obtained from 2002 to 2006.
