Otto Berkes

Otto Berkes has extensive work experience in various leadership and executive roles. Otto is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at HireRoad and is also a Member of the Board of Directors at the same company. In addition, they work as an Advisor at Airtime. Berkes is also the Founder of bog bridges.

Before these roles, Berkes held positions at the University of Vermont as a Member of the Board of Trustees, where they served on the Audit Committee and the Educational Policy & Institutional Resources Committee.

Their previous experience includes being the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at CA Technologies, where they were responsible for the company's technical leadership and innovation. Otto also served as the EVP, Technology and CTO at HBO, leading the company's technology organization and directing the formulation of HBO's technology strategy.

Berkes also has significant experience at Microsoft, where they held multiple roles such as Partner Hardware Architect for Bing, General Manager, and Senior Partner Architect for Xbox/Interactive Entertainment. Otto played a key role in the development of Microsoft's entertainment platform and the Ultra-Mobile PC initiative. Otto also initiated and led the incubation efforts for the handheld Windows PC platform and the Media Center project.

Berkes began their career at Autodesk as a Senior Developer and Architect, and later worked as a Senior Developer at Vermont Microsystems.

Throughout their career, Berkes has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and expertise in technology strategy and development.

Otto Berkes holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont. Otto also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College, majoring in Physics with a minor in Music Performance.
