Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith began their career in 2004 as a Technical Recruiter at Glotel, a global technology staffing and managed projects Solutions company. In 2007, they joined Thoughtworks as a Corporate Recruiter, working with an internal team of 7 to identify and recruit leading talent for both entry-level and experienced hires. In 2008, Jeff Smith accepted a Contract Recruiter role at Classified Ventures, where they were responsible for internal technical recruitment of IT professionals. In 2010, Jeff Smith held two concurrent roles as a Contract Recruiter at CDW and a National Corporate Recruiting Manager at Williams Lea. At CDW, they successfully staffed an Account Management class to exceed capacity for CDW's upcoming training class. At Williams Lea, Jeff Smith was responsible for nationwide recruitment of print procurement professionals. In 2011, Jeff Smith became the Director of Talent Acquisition at Pacific Pulmonary Services, where they were involved in all aspects of Talent Management and Talent Acquisition for both sales and back office organizations. In 2017, Jeff Smith became a Mentor at 1871. In 2020, they Co-Created{ish} & Keymaster at Careerwell, a holistic approach to career development and job search. Finally, in 2015, Jeff Smith joined Hirewell as Partner, Managed & OnDemand Delivery, and later became the Vice President of Managed Recruiting Programs. Jeff grew the Practice from $275K in 2017 to $1.8M in 2019, with a final projection of $6M in 2022.
