Virginia A Lang

Virginia A Lang has a long and varied career in the field of user experience and design. Virginia A began their career in 1996 as the Director of User Centered Design & Evaluation at Symantec. In 2000, they became the Director of Web Services at RemoteNet Corporation. In 2001, they co-founded OnCenter Consulting, where they served as CEO. In 2003, they were the Manager of User Experience at CalAmp. In 2004, they became the Manager of the Microsoft SQL Server User Experience team. In 2006, they became the Sr. Manager of User Experience at DIRECTV and the Founder of HirLan, Inc. In 2007, they were the Director of User Experience Design at DivX, Inc. In 2008, they were the Director of User Experience & Design at HandsOn Mobile. Finally, in 2012, they became a Consultant and Associate Director of Human Factors at Merck Group.

Virginia A Lang has a PhD in Psychology--Human Factors/Cognitive from Binghamton University, which they obtained between 1985 and 1990. Virginia A also has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology from Towson University, which they obtained between 1975 and 1978.
