Markus Klopfer has a diverse work experience starting from 1997. Markus began their career as an Intern/Assistant Vice President at Medi-Globe Corporation. Markus then worked as a Product Marketing Intern at Standard & Poors ComStock before joining Microsoft as a Strategic Marketing professional. Later, they served as a Management Consultant at Accenture and participated in the Allianz Management Programme at Allianz. In 2005, Markus joined Hiscox and held various roles such as Underwriter & Product Manager and Branch Office Manager Munich. Markus then became the Director of Region Central and Southern Germany & Austria. Recently, they assumed the role of COO, Hiscox Partner at Hiscox Germany.
Markus Klopfer completed a Master of Laws degree in Rechts- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Universität des Saarlandes from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom Betriebswirt (Master of Business Administration) in Internationale Betriebswirtschaftslehre from Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 2001. In 1998, they attended the University of Greenwich for an International Business Administration Programme focused on Strategic Analysis and Strategy Management.
