Alejandro Banda

Alejandro Banda currently serves as the UT Health San Antonio Chapter President for the Hispanic Dental Association since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Clinical Cell Therapy Associate and Research Assistant in the Departments of Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy and Lymphoma & Myeloma from August 2018 to July 2021. Alejandro also worked as a Resident Assistant at Iona College, where responsibilities included documenting policy violations and creating programs for residents. Additional internships at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston involved community health studies focused on diabetes management and health behavior improvements in Hispanic communities. Alejandro Banda is pursuing a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at UT Health San Antonio, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Iona University.
