Vice President Of Programming at Hispanic Student Association at UF

Michael Turino is an experienced leader currently serving as the Vice President of Programming for the Hispanic Student Association at the University of Florida, where responsibilities include advocating for the Hispanic/Latinx community and overseeing events for over 200 members. Michael has previously held roles such as Member Relations Director and General Body Meeting Director within the same organization, enhancing communication skills and facilitating events for students. As Secretary of the Florida Students of Accounting Council, Michael connected students with faculty while organizing professional and community service initiatives. Further experience includes managing finances as Finance Director for the UF Hispanic-Latinx Heritage Month organization and completing an internship at HLB Gravier, LLP, conducting financial audits. Michael is expected to complete a Master of Accounting in April 2024, following a Bachelor of Science in Accounting earned in 2023 from the University of Florida.
