Julie Owens

Julie Owens is an experienced professional currently serving as the Ames Team Leader and Associate Scientist at Inotiv since June 2021, following a role as a Research Assistant I. Prior to this, Julie worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Integrated Laboratory Systems, LLC from June 2021 to January 2022, and held various positions at Proactive Dog Training LLC, including Shift Supervisor and Dog Trainer, from June 2019 to December 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as an Office Assistant at the UNCSA Office of the Registrar and Laboratory Assistant at Integrated Laboratory Systems, Inc. Julie also has a background in customer service as a Barista at Starbucks and a Ticket Taker at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre, along with experience as a Dance Teacher at Holly Springs School of Dance. Julie Owens holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, earned between 2016 and 2020.
