Simon Hooper

Simon Hooper is currently the Head of IT at Historic Royal Palaces, while also running their own consultancy firm, Hoopernet Consultancy. With over 20 years of experience in IT within the financial industry, their expertise spans across various technologies including Microsoft, VMWare, CISCO, ShoreTel, Citrix, IBM, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and more. Prior to their current roles, Simon worked as an Infrastructure Dev Ops Engineer at VALIDIS HOLDINGS LIMITED and as the Senior Infrastructure Manager at Covéa Insurance. Simon holds a degree from Nene College and Dover College.
