Anna L. Weissman, PhD, currently serves as the Associate Curator of Domestic Life and Senior Exhibit Developer and Public Historian at History Colorado, overseeing exhibition development and leading cross-divisional teams in creating multiple exhibits annually. Previously, Anna held leadership roles such as Chair of the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of La Porte, where outreach and historical research initiatives were expanded, and as Curator at Barker Mansion, managing significant collections and overseeing exhibit development. Experience includes contributions to the Smithsonian Institution as a Research Historian focused on African American history and various instructional roles in higher education, alongside extensive curatorial and interpretive planning work in multiple museums. Anna holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Florida, along with other advanced degrees in related fields.
