Valerie Pagliaro

Valerie Pagliaro serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Hitachi Capital America. In this role, she is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all HCA accounting and finance functions.

Prior to joining HCA, Valerie spent the majority of her career at GE Capital and its subsidiaries. During her 25 years there, she gained experience in direct lending, vendor and captive finance, and acquisitions and dispositions. She held a variety of senior positions, including operating business CFO roles for the core equipment financing, vendor finance, and trade finance businesses. As GE Capital began its wind down strategy, Valerie directed the financial analysis and modeling for the $35 billion equipment leasing and inventory finance disposition, one of the largest individual transactions during the dissolution.

Valerie has an MBA in finance from Pace University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bryant University. She serves on the board of directors for The W Connection, a nonprofit focused on helping widows with the knowledge and skills they need to rebuild their lives.
