James Deighton

James Deighton is a seasoned product manager with extensive experience in technology and engineering. Currently serving as Product Manager for ICT, Machine Control & Guidance, and Safety Solutions at Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV since April 2022, James oversees the strategy and development of smart-machine technology for the European market. Previous roles include Product Manager at Ultimaker, where James represented customer interests for the Digital Factory platform, and Venture Builder at Bundl, focusing on value propositions in the European Cyber Security market. Additionally, James contributed to the innovation and development of homecare products at Philips as a Function Development Engineer and Product Development Engineer. James holds degrees in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Master of Engineering in Product Design Engineering from Loughborough University.
