Weiyun Mao

Weiyun Mao has a diverse range of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Weiyun is currently working at Hitachi Rail as a Work Package Lead and Senior Telecoms Engineer. Prior to this role, they worked at Alstom as a Communications Engineer. Weiyun also gained valuable experience at BOMBARDIER, where they worked as a Communications Engineer and later as an Associate Communications Engineer. Additionally, Weiyun has interned as a Telephony Engineer at Cepstral LLC and worked as a Graduate Student Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh. Weiyun started their career as a Software Engineer at UniqueSoft (Shanghai) Software Co., Ltd and gained marketing experience as an intern at China Mobile.

Weiyun Mao holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Dalian Jiaotong University from 2005 to 2010, obtaining a dual degree in BS in Software Engineering and BMgmt in Marketing. In 2008-2009, they attended Dickinson State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
