Michelle Taggart Pla

Michelle Taggart, PLA, currently serves as Principal and Senior Associate at Hitchcock Design Group since February 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as a Landscape Architect and Studio Coordinator at Mader Design LLC from January 2013 to February 2022. In addition to professional experience, Michelle contributed to the ASLA Indiana Chapter Executive Committee from October 2013 to October 2016, holding positions such as Member-at-large, Treasurer-elect, and Treasurer. Previous roles include Graduate Landscape Architect at Synthesis Incorporated, Landstory, RATIO Architects, URS Corporation, and Knox & Partners Landscape Architects, where involvement in significant projects enhanced expertise in landscape architecture. Michelle holds bachelor's degrees in Landscape Architecture and Resource and Environmental Management from the University of Canberra, earned between 1999 and 2003.
