Thanasis started their career in 2013 as a Translator and Editor at ALMIAAD LINGUA for Translation and Language Services, where they ensured the accuracy and consistency of translations and proofread and revised translated materials. Thanasis also worked as a Translator and Editor at A-Z European Business Centre LTD, performing similar responsibilities such as maintaining the content and meaning of translations, checking technical terms, and proofreading and editing materials.

In 2015, Thanasis joined Intertranslations Ltd as a Translator and Editor. Thanasis continued their translation and editing work, ensuring the quality of translations.

In 2016, they became a Translator, Editor, and SEO Specialist at Translated. Thanasis provided language services to clients, translating, editing, and optimizing content for websites and marketing materials. Thanasis Karavasilis has a diverse education history. Thanasis obtained a UX Writing Qualification from the UX Writing Hub in 2023. Prior to that, they earned a DipHE in TESOL with Applied Linguistics from the University of Central Lancashire from 2011 to 2013. Thanasis also holds a BA (Hons) in English Language and Communication with English Literature from the University of Hertfordshire, which they completed from 2007 to 2010.
