Jakobus Debel

Jakobus Debel has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jakobus currently holds the position of Solution Engineer at HiveCPQ - Product Configurator since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Greengineer at ArcelorMittal Belgium from April 2022 to May 2023. Jakobus also had a previous stint at HiveCPQ - Product Configurator as a Solution Engineer from December 2020 to March 2022. Before joining HiveCPQ, they served as a Technical Superintendent Vessel Maintenance at Jan De Nul Group from February 2019 to December 2020. Jakobus has also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer (Internship) at Compagnie Maritime Belge (CMB) in October-December 2017, and as an Industrial Engineer (Student Job) at Glaverbel in July-August 2016 and A.T.S. group nv. in July-August 2014.

Jakobus Debel's education history began in 2010 when they enrolled at Ghent University. Jakobus pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electro-Mechanics. Jakobus completed this degree in 2015. In 2014, Jakobus participated in the Erasmus program and conducted research for their Master's thesis on exchange at Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov. Jakobus continued their studies at KU Leuven from 2015 to 2018, where they earned another Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering. As part of an international exchange program, Jakobus conducted research for their Master's thesis at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2017 to 2018.
