Morgan Wood has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Starting in 2015, Morgan worked as a Global Strategy Intern for Citizens' Climate Lobby before becoming the Global Strategy Director from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, Morgan held various roles at It's On Us, Swing Left, and Cheese Club @ Binghamton, where Morgan served as the Campus Community Director, College Fellow, and Founding President, respectively.
Morgan then transitioned to roles at The Hub Project, Campus Compact, and United Nations Foundation. At The Hub Project, Morgan worked as a Campus Organizer in 2018. Morgan served as a Civic Newman Fellow at Campus Compact from 2018 to 2019. At the United Nations Foundation, Morgan held various positions including Fellow, Community Engagement; Program Mentor, Coalition and Club Programs; Deputy Camp Director, Women in Science (WiSci) STEAM Camp; Head Counselor, Women in Science (WiSci) STEAM Camp; Intern, Community & Program Planning; Community Engagement Coordinator; and Project Manager, Asana Implementation & Adoption, all between 2016 and 2022.
In 2022, Morgan joined Dreamers & Doers® as an Executive Member and became an Online Community Manager at Hivebrite. Morgan's responsibilities at Hivebrite included overseeing the customer community, developing community strategies, and driving growth through trend analysis. Currently, Morgan holds the position of Head of Community at Hivebrite, where Morgan takes charge of the customer community, creates enablement strategies for the team, and refines Hivebrite's Go-To-Market strategy to enhance their revenue teams' strategic prowess, knowledge, and awareness. Morgan's contributions include cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder relationship building, and advocating for the customer community.
Morgan Wood obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from Binghamton University. Additionally, Morgan has achieved certifications in The Community MBA from CMX in March 2022, and has also completed the Ambassador certification from Asana. Morgan has also pursued further education in Business Strategy for Social Impact from Wharton Online, Components of Effective Learning from LinkedIn, Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, and Strategic Leadership and Management Specialization from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
