Shamila Neelakandan

Shamila Neelakandan is a seasoned professional in construction claims and expert services, currently serving as Partner and Head of Construction Claims & Expert Services for Asia Pacific at HKA since May 2017, with a focus on business strategy and team growth in the region. Previously, Shamila held roles as Regional Director for both HKA and Hill International, overseeing claims consultancy practices and ensuring high service delivery standards across multiple regions including the Middle East and Asia. With a background in commercial and dispute resolution on major international projects, as well as experience as a Senior Solicitor and Associate specializing in construction law and corporate litigation, Shamila holds an LLM from King's College London and various professional distinctions including Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
