Marco de Groot

Marco de Groot has extensive experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, currently serving as the Owner of Hooymeijer since March 2007, where responsibilities include managing warehousing, stevedoring, container transport, and special transport services. Previously, Marco co-owned Tunderman International BV from July 2017 to September 2019, specializing in European groupage services, and co-founded Embassy Freight Rotterdam, which operated from January 2004 to November 2017 as a certified freight forwarding branch. Prior experience includes serving as Operational Manager at Hacap Shipping BV from February 1994 to December 2003, focusing on the global transportation of chemicals. Education includes specialized studies in hazardous materials transportation and military training at recognized institutions.
